About 28 Degrees
28 Degrees is a sole proprietorship based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 53688767 (VAT NL002503034B47). On this website we sell handmade elastic wallets and camera straps. Contact: hello@28deg.com.
Placing an order
The products shown on this website are an invitation to order, not an offer. By clicking 'pay' you make an offer to buy. We confirm your order by email; that's when the contract takes effect. We can decline an order for a reasonable cause (stock, suspected fraud, shipping restrictions).
Prices and payment
All prices are in euros and include VAT for EU customers. Payments are handled by Stripe (cards, iDEAL, Apple Pay). We never see your card details; they stay with Stripe.
Shipping
Rates and delivery times are on our shipping page. Risk of loss or damage passes to you once PostNL has delivered the parcel.
Returns and refunds
You have 30 days to return your order. Full terms are on the returns page. Short version: return shipping is at your expense; we refund within 14 days of receipt in new condition.
Handmade products
Our wallets are made by hand in small batches. Small variations in colour, texture, or stitching are part of the craft and not defects.
Intellectual property
All photos, copy, designs, and the 28 Degrees brand belong to 28 Degrees. Commercial use requires written permission. Personal use (sharing on social media with credit) we appreciate.
Liability
We are not liable for indirect damages, consequential losses, or lost profits. Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory EU consumer rights.
Force majeure
If circumstances beyond our control (postal strikes, supplier failures, natural events) prevent us from delivering an order on time, we'll let you know as soon as possible and work out a solution together.
Privacy
How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version live at the time of your order applies to that order.
Governing law and disputes
Dutch law applies to these terms. Your mandatory EU consumer rights remain. Disputes are submitted to the court in Amsterdam. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
